PAYMENT PLAN FOR ORIGINAL ARTWORK
A payment plan is similar to a layaway plan. Once a payment plan is approved, the chosen artwork will be put on reserve for the Buyer and taken off the market. The artwork will be held by the Artist until all the payments are made.
Payment:
The Buyer will pay a minimum of 10% upfront and then a set amount each month for up to 12 months. These subsequent payments can be made by e-transfer. At any point during the payment plan, the Buyer is welcome to pay off the balance in full.
Nonpayment:
A non-payment will incur an additional charge of $50. Non-payment occurs when an e-transfer
has not been paid by 5 days past the payment dates agreed to in the contract. Three non-payments shall void the contract and the Buyer will forfeit any payments that have already been made. The artwork will then go back onto the market for sale.
Monthly Statements:
Each month, after the payment is processed, the Artist will email the Buyer a statement showing how much has been paid and the balance due. This ensures that the Buyer will be aware of the current status of their payment plan.
